RECENT SURVEYING         PROJECTS

US Route 36

PSBA recently completed construction staking on Route 36 in Marion and Ralls County, Missouri. Our professional services were provided to Progressive Contractors, Inc. The project consisted of providing construction staking on approximately 10 miles of four lane improvements. We utilized both the horizontal and vertical control provided by MoDOT to establish slope stakes and set blue tops for grading. We staked and graded culverts and a bridge and provided the final graded pavement stakes throughout the project. Due to time constraints on the project, PSBA provided up to 3 crews throughout the project to meet the contractor's needs.

Sinclair Pipeline

PSBA is providing professional services to Sinclair Pipeline Company on a 6 mile gas main relocation project near Marceline, Missouri. The project consists of providing the alignment construction staking and preparing easement plats and descriptions along the relocated alignment. PSBA determined the required GLO land corners and property line information throughout the project which included approximately 20 parcels. This project is scheduled to be completed in February of 2009.

Illinois Route 3

PSBA is working for the Illinois DOT District 8 in Jersey County on Illinois Route 3. The project consists of an 8 mile highway improvement. We are utilizing a modified state plane ground coordinate system provided by IDOT. And, we have been contracted to locate and or establish the GLO land corners and property line throughout the designated highway corridor, and prepare plats of highway and legal descriptions on approximately 120 parcels.
