An integral tool used for land use planning projects in the Adams County, Illinois area is the Geographical Information System (GIS) that the PSBA team designed. Some of the GIS information that is typically used includes zoning districts, digital mapping, census tracts and blocks, addresses, road right-of-way, and existing contours. In addition, our staff has extensive experience with conducting public workshops, working with citizen advisory committees, and making presentations at public hearings.
