Since
joining PSBA, Mr. Poepping has been the Corporate Officer in charge
of
all land surveying and general civil engineering work for the corporation.
His engineering experience encompasses a wide variety of projects
including
transportation studies, intersection design, road /highway design,
bridge design, land surveying, sanitary and storm sewer design, park
design,
abandoned strip mine reclamation projects, investigations, specification
writing, proposals, estimating, construction observation and management
of projects. Mr. Poepping also serves as PSBAs lead professional
in the development of geographic information systems (GIS). He has attended
numerous training seminars and has recently served on the Federal Geographic
Data Committee. This committee sponsored four Geospatial Data Framework
Workshops throughout the country which concentrated on developing the
National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) Framework. In addition, Mr.
Poepping serves as the City Engineer for a number of Illinois communities.
Before joining Poepping, Stone, Bach & Associates, Inc. (PSBA),
Mr. Poepping held the position of City Engineer for the City of Quincy,
Illinois.
Prior to that time, he was employed by the Illinois Department of Transportation

Mr.
Stone is a Registered Land Surveyor with over 30 years of experience.
Since joining PSBA, Mr. Stone has been in charge of the Surveying
Department
for the firm. He has been involved in the survey of numerous projects
in the City of Quincy and in communities throughout the states of
Illinois,
Iowa, and Missouri. Examples of the types of surveys Mr. Stone has
been involved in include: roadway improvements, right-of-way allocations,
bridges,
utilities, solid waste management sites, coal mine reclamation projects,
railroad spurs, airport runways, residential subdivisions, individual
properties, and a wide variety of building construction projects.
Mr.
Stone is also involved with obtaining highway and utility permits for
our clients. Before joining Poepping, Stone, Bach & Associates, Inc.
(PSBA) in 1970, Mr. Stone was employed by the City of Quincys Engineering
Department as a project engineer for various City projects. In addition,
Mr. Stone was employed by the City of Quincys Water Department
where he supervised new construction and was involved with maintenance
issues. Mr.
Stone will become the president of the Illinois Professional Land Surveyors
Association at the annual Spring 2000 meeting. IPLSA is the only statewide
association that represents professional land surveyors in the state of
Illinois and is the oldest land surveying organization in the United States. Top

Dicks worked as a surveyor before becoming a GIS technician. Some of the
projects he worked on include, GPS section corner and boundary location
for improvements on US 136 in Mercer Co. MO. He performed hydraulic and
topographic surveys for US 61 in Lewis and Clark Co. MO. He has also been
on construction staking projects for IL 96, and Hannibal Municipal Airport.
Mr. Dicks has also been involved in many boundary and topographic surveys
