Matthew Walker

Professional Engineer

Matthew Walker joined PSBA in January 2014. Matthew works in the Hannibal and Bowling Green, Missouri offices. He was previously employed by Great River Engineering, Inc. (GRE) as a Project Engineer, providing Bridge Design services for MoDOT’s BRO Program, CDBG and Credit Bridges; Construction Inspections; Surveying; and, General Civil Engineering Consulting services. Since joining PSBA, Mr. Walker has continued to serve his clients from GRE including construction and bridge projects.

Quentin Gehring

Professional Engineer

Quentin Gehring joined the PSBA team in July 2018 after 11 years working as a geotechnical engineering consultant in Alaska. Quentin also spent one year as a construction management consultant in Kansas and Nebraska. He has strong communication skills that keep clients and contractors well informed and projects on schedule. His experience includes: site characterization; shallow and deep foundation design; retaining wall design; anchored/guyed foundation systems; seismic hazards assessment and mitigation; ground improvement methods such as compaction grouting and dynamic compaction; embankment and pavement structure design for asphalt, concrete, and aggregate surfaced roads and airfields; and, non-intrusive geophysical techniques for supplemental site.

Charlie Jones

James “Skip” Wilson

Senior Engineering Technician

James Wilson, better known as “Skip”, joined the Architectural-Engineering firm of Poepping, Stone, Bach, & Associates, Inc. (PSBA) in January 2015. Mr. Wilson is responsible for the inspection of bridges throughout the State of Missouri. While this is no small task, it is one Mr. Wilson is well-versed in as he was employed for nearly 30 years for MoDOT conducting bridge and highway maintenance and inspection.  His specialties include:
