Randolph County Bridge Replacement, Randolph County, Missouri
For decades, County Road 2660 in Randolph County, Missouri, had been a source of problems for the Randolph County Commission. To develop a solution to the situation, the commission hired PSBA and its team of structural engineers.
The road had several substandard or blind curves. These curves presented a major safety concern for buses on the route. Additionally, a crossing which utilized 2 large culvert pipes needed routine maintenance and had recently washed out.
PSBA conducted a hydraulic analysis, and developed a new roadway alignment making significant improvements to the road. PSBA was responsible for the Hydraulic Study, Right-of-way documents, Structural Design, Roadway design, and Construction Administration.
This structure was constructed by Sharp Excavating, Inc. of Perry, Missouri.
